The years are rolling by! First days 1/2 and no.3 is today your last day in reception Corey. You’ve grown in size in confidence and your character is explosive your laugh has become louder your smile wider and that tiny hand is no longer so small. You are amazing funny kind and clever and I could not be prouder of the person you are becoming. You may forget days like these but I won’t. The gift of being a parent is treasuring days like today the day you made it through the first year of school the day I read your school report proud with every word and the day you said words I never thought I’d hear “ this year has been amazing I love school”... Proud is an understatement you did kidda autism and all 💙

We’re into the last week of school!! We got through a whole year kiddos 🙌🏻 not one single day late or missed piece of homework pass me the wine bitchesss 💃🏻🥂 I’m joking I can’t handle my drink my body hates me i just about handle a red bull 😆 But woohoo pat on the back for us even if twice we did run to school 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️ 😆 But roll on the summer where we can have lie ins late nights parties and all nighterrrsss 😆 again I’m joking I’m in bed by 9 latest up at 5 latest 😆 BUT nooo school so Days out and lots of fun is approaching I can’t wait to spend everyday with reggie and Ronnie although 80% will be spent listening to them bicker and within a week I’ll be saying “is school starting yet” 😆 but we will be out having fun in the sun 🙌🏻 Throw some activities at me anything fun happening over the West Midlands I wanna know it all 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

It’s not always about days out, new toys , holidays and expensive items. The best memories are those made together. Tonight while they were in the bath we secretly dragged their mattresses into our room, stuck a movie on and honest to god you’d think we’d told them they were going to Disneyland. The excitement of having a sleep over in our room was explosive 😆 why? Just because 🤷🏻‍♀️ I want their childhoods to be filled with random fun weird memories like the time they had a sleep over in our room and we all watched Disney movies eating popcorn in bed till they fell asleep or the time we built a fort in the livingroom and camped over night in it or the time mum got us back up after bed time to have a movie night with slush puppies! It’s not about the money you spend or the money you don’t have to spare . Make a memory there free built a fort, have a midnight feast, camp in the garden and worry less about the things we wish we could afford. Money doesn’t equal memories. P.s why are they now asleep in our cosy king size bed and were on the floor on their mattress wasn’t exactly how I thought this would go but fuck it! It was fun 😆🙌🏻 p.p.s how alike do they look sleeping!! School holidays are approaching be spontaneous 💃🏻🙌🏻

And so we have reached a whole year of school my boy, something I spent countless nights worrying about. School life didn’t start great for us at 3 you struggled to cope with it all, the noise the chaos the crowdedness the routine. We pulled you out of nursery and you blossomed you thrived being at home and escaping the chaos of it all you became happier free from the overload and I was so scared knowing real schooling was around the corner and I was so scared the system would swallow you up again. Over the summer we spent everyday talking about your new journey about to start going into reception I tried my best to prepare you and put in place everything I could to help you and your autistic ways. And then came September a new school a new hurdle I didn’t think we would get over....and so it began I think I held my breathe for at least a month 😆 but my boy I had nothing to worry about your school were amazing they picked up your ways instantly and put in place everything they could to help, you made friends, you learnt , you coped and you were so happy. I remember speaking with your teacher listening how popular you were how much you loved learning and I cried 😆. And yesterday a year later you blew my mind for the first time ever you read a whole book I couldn’t believe I told everyone my boy! You may struggle you may not be reaching “targets” BUT your doing it our kid your learning your reading your loving education and your happy!! Autism may be apart of you Corey boy but it will not define you! You are amazing funny kind loving and so clever. I am SO proud and SO lucky to know you and be your mum. I will forever be in your corner I will forever fight for you and together we are going to rock this education thing us against them all our kid we got you 💙👊🏻

We do a lot of toy reviews and I’m always completely honest on them. Being 100% honest we had SO MUCH FUN with this one! Inside had so much more than I expected too! We’ve been busy for the last hour and half with it! .... It’s the @zuru.toys Smashers Dino Epic Egg which launch today! Inside were different activity type eggs and parcels to find the hidden treasure of a Dino skeleton! Inside was a fizzy lava bomb, ice age putty and slime plus more to uncover the hidden fossils! Aswell as 6 smash eggs , digging tools and a scratch map! We really really enjoyed doing this together and I think these would make egg-cellent gifts or school holidays treats 😉 available at all leading retailers such as ASDA , b&m Argos and more!! £24.99....🦖☠️🥚🧡 #AD
